Recently redeveloped by the RAF Central Fund, Feshiebridge Lodges offer beautifully-designed accommodation to be enjoyed by RAF personnel, their families, friends and anyone else who wises to unwind and explore the spectacular Cairngorms National Park.
Nestled in picturesque forest surroundings, we are pleased to offer four 3-bedroom lodges, a large studio apartment and a spacious 1-bedroom apartment which can double up as a large communal living and dining area for groups.
With numerous outdoor activities, stunning scenery, historical sites, and abundant wildlife on your doorstep, Feshiebridge Lodges provide spacious, comfortable self-catering accommodation for those wishing to explore this area of outstanding natural beauty.
More accessible than you might think, Feshiebridge is just a short drive from the scenic towns of Aviemore and Kinguissie and less than an hour from Inverness airport.

Local Area
Feshiebridge lies within the Cairngorms National Park in the Scottish Highlands, the largest national park in the UK with spectacular scenery and a great variety of things to do, from castles and distilleries, to walking trails, family fun and endless outdoor activities all year round.
Just eight miles from Feshiebridge is the scenic town of Aviemore, where you will find shops, cafes, bars and local attractions.
Inverness Airport is less than 50 miles away (approximately one hour by car) and both Aviemore and Kinguisse have railway stations.
Activities
Feshiebridge is a perfect base to experience everything the Cairngorms National Park has to offer. From water sports to winter sports, distilleries to birdwatching, castles to cycling, the area is brimming with activities for all ages, all levels of experience, and all weathers!
Watersports
The Cairngorms National Park boasts some of the cleanest rivers and lochs in Europe, as well as two dedicated watersports centres. Try your hand at fishing, sailing, windsurfing, paddle sports, rafting, swimming or gorge walking, all set against a magnificent mountain backdrop.
Wintersports
Feshiebridge lies just a few miles from Cairn Gorm, the best-known ski and snowboarding area in the National Park. The snow stays around for most of the winter season with a great variety of terrain on offer for both downhill and cross-country skiing. There is tuition available for all levels and plenty of apres-ski available in Aviemore.
Hiking
The sheer size, scale and remoteness of the Cairngorms makes them an ideal playground for keen hillwalkers, and with Feshiebridge as your base you can easily ‘bag a Munro’. For those seeking less of a challenge, there are countless beautiful trails along rivers and besides lochs were you can take in spectacular views and spot local wildlife.
Cycling
Whether you are an experienced mountain biker or simply looking for a family-friendly cycle ride, the Cairngorms are home to some of the best cycling routes in Scotland, with an impressive 64km of well-connected off-road routes and plenty of places where you can hire bikes of all types. Plus, our accommodation at Feshiebridge offers a separate bike store and washing area for outdoor equipment.
Historical sites
The Cairngorms’ played an important role in much of Scotland’s history, from Royal feuds and bloody battles to industrial revolution. There are numerous historical attractions across the National Park with tales to tell of the area’s fascinating past, including Ruthven Barracks, Balmoral Castle, and Braemar Castle.
Wildlife
Home to an amazing array of wildlife, the Cairngorm National Park has some of the UK’s most rare and endangered species. Nature lovers will be spoilt with the natural history on offer and visitors to Feshiebridge may be lucky enough to spot some of the animals the lodges are named after as well as red squirrels, pine martens or the elusive Scottish wildcat. For guaranteed sightings and a close encounter with some of the region’s native species as well as their Northern Hemisphere cousins, then the Highland Wildlife Park is well worth a visit.
Distilleries
For many visitors to the region, a trip to Scotland would not be complete without a wee dram. So if you are keen to whet your whistle then you are in luck, with the Cairngorm Brewery and Inshriach Gin Distillery just down the road in Aviemore, and the Speyside Distillery a few miles away in Kingussie.

There are all sorts of other attractions within easy reach of Feshiebridge, including the Strathspey Steam Railway, the Rothiemurchus Estate, the Fun House at Hilton Coylumbridge, the Landmark Forest Adventure Centre and the Highland Folk Museum.
