As your charity, we are absolutely committed to working with you, to find the best methods to enhance and support you as you work and live within the serving RAF community. One of the ways we do this is by offering sporting centres and recreational accommodation enabling serving personnel bespoke venues for taking part in their sport or outdoor activity of choice.

Danesfield

Danesfield is the Home of RAF Rowing and RAF Canoeing and also is a Force Development facility in partnership with 22 Gp. For more information please get in touch at: mail@rafcf.org.uk.

Feshiebridge Lodges

Vine Lane

Based in Uxbridge, Vine Lane is the home of RAF Cricket. Further details coming soon.

Halton Tennis Centre

Halton Tennis Centre is leased by the Fund to the Halton Tennis Centre charity. The charity enables participation in healthy recreational activities, particularly tennis. The Fund and Halton Tennis Centre work together to ensure RAF personnel, of all abilities, have access to the exceptional facilities for training and competitions. With indoor and outdoor courts, RAF personnel can enjoy tennis, and the numerous other facilities, throughout the year.

However, when complications from an ankle injury resulted in a life changing operation, Shona took an opportunity during her rehabilitation that would change her life forever once again.

Every year, enthusiasts from beginners to elite athletes gather to take part in an endurance race against the magnificent backdrop of the Austrian Alps. Catering to all levels of skill, the two-week event is not only where the seasoned winter sports competitors go to battle it out for medals but is also an excellent opportunity for those who want to learn a new sport.
