The RAF Central Fund has secured new partnerships with four industry leading sports brands to ensure serving RAF personnel can obtain affordable, sustainable and high-quality sports kit and equipment.
These collaborations are part of the Fund’s ongoing commitment to making sport and physical activity more accessible across the RAF, reducing the personal cost barrier and ensuring RAF Sport has the best kit to enhance safety and performance.
Partnering with Decathlon, Sports Directory, Kukri Sports and RAF Sport Clothing allows the Fund to provide affordable, high-quality kit and equipment across multiple sports and promote inclusivity across all ranks in the RAF.
Ross Perriam, CEO at the RAF Central Fund, said: “Our aim is for all serving RAF personnel to develop their full potential through sport and physical activities.
An integral part of this is ensuring that they have the best possible equipment and kit in which to participate in.
We are delighted to have the support of four strong brands, each providing high-quality sporting clothing and equipment and all-round excellent value for money to the RAF.
Collaborating with leading sportswear brands that are economically sustainable was a key goal for the Fund. With responsible consumption and production at the forefront of our values, it was important to us that we work with suppliers who share our environmental ethics.”
The range of discounts, now available online, will aid RAF personnel to participate in their chosen sport, supporting personal development and operational readiness, whilst reinforcing the RAF’s standards of building a happy, healthy and high-performing force.
