RAF Ice Hockey (RAFIHA) is about teamwork, resilience, mental well-being, and professionalism, but fundamentally it is about bringing together personnel who have a common passion for chasing a puck around the ice and having fun!
Throughout the year the RAF Ice Hockey teams have the opportunity to compete in the RAF Championship and Tri-Services competition. These competitions are a great opportunity for individuals at all levels to gain experience and share knowledge.
Learn To Play training camps encourage grassroots players to try something new and ascertain whether they wish to train with one of the regional teams. Camps take place several times a year at the Telford Ice Rink and give personnel the opportunity to receive focused coaching over a 3-day period, cumulating in a full game to practice what they have learnt.
RAF Ice Hockey seizes every opportunity to travel to compete and train with other nations, developing and building positive relationships for the future of UK Armed Forces Ice Hockey.
