RAF Sport Aircraft

The objective of RAF Sport Aircraft (RAFSA) is to encourage air-mindedness, good airmanship and promote Service-efficiency through Air Sports and Competition for all Whole Force personnel of the Air Forces of the Crown, irrespective of rank, trade or grade, by providing flying instruction and access to flying of light aircraft as economically as practicable.

RAF Sport Aircraft is an integrated part of developing the Service’s operational capability and ‘War-fighter Spirit’. In common with the other RAF Sport associations, the Service gives as much practical encouragement and support as is possible to RAFSA in the interest of promoting efficiency of the Air Forces of the Crown.
